Pukipuki Pinafore and Shorts

Size 6/1.8 mm hook
Size 10 crochet thread
Gauge approximately 10 stitches or 12 rows per inch (3 stitches or 5 rows per centimeter) in single crochet

Abbreviations:
All terms are American crochet
Ch- chain
St- stitch
Sc- single crochet
2sc- sc two times in same stitch
3 sc- sc three times in same stitch
Sl- slip stitch
Dc- double crochet
2dc- dc two times in same stitch

Body:
Ch 20, join
Sc 7 rows around

Leg 1:
Sc10, ch1, skip 10, sc, (start of leg round, 11 st)
2sc two times, sc around; On ch, sc only in back loop (15st)
Sc 2 rows around
Picot (ch3, sl) around in front loops, then back loops
Finish off

Leg 2:
Hold with leg 1 on left; in leftmost space, sl, ch 1
Sc in front loop of ch; sc7, 2sc two times (15 st)
Sc 2 rows around
Picot (ch3, sl) in front loops, then back loops
Finish off
